IS THERE ANY GREAT WOMAN PHYSICIST LIKE EINSTEIN AND NEWTON?
Female physicists are not only as smart as their male peers but they have the added bonus that do not usually lost the keys nor wear their clothes inside out. (Einstein often had trouble going to the bathroom because he couldn't find his fly: he would start yelling that someone had sabotaged his pants until he was told that he wore the pants on backwards.) It would be easy to praise the merits of the two women who were awarded with the Nobel Prize in Physics. But I prefer to mention one of the many female particle physicist who would have deserved such distinction. Her name is Lucinda Shroedinger, whose mathematical model explained why certain number of nucleons do not collaborate in the maintenance of the atom and instead prefer to get drunk. Thus shedding some light on the reason for the erratic behavior that characterizes the quantum world.
